The black-headed gull is a small bird that breeds in the highlands of Central Asia. These migratory birds make their annual voyage from cold places to inland lakes and wetlands of tropical South Asia. Like most gulls, it is very gregarious in winter. “Many of these birds migrate to Surat during this time. Brown-headed gulls also migrate to this city.
