Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Governor Mangubhai Patel said here on Monday that the activities of Bharath scouts and guides should be carried out with the theme of Sabka Saath, Prayas and Vikas (cooperation, effort and development of each), according to an official statement.
He said efforts should be made to have the institution’s magazine go to all schools.
He chaired the meeting of scouts and guides from Bharat, Madhya Pradesh to Raj Bhavan on Monday.
The government said, âThe Bharath Girl Scouts and Guides organization should organize programs to mark the birthdays of great personalities. It will give inspiration to the next generation on the noble thoughts and the lives of the great men who served for the society.
He said the range of planting programs should be expanded by the organization. Work should also be carried out to raise public awareness of the importance of trees for the availability of vital oxygen. The success of the organization lies in the fact that future generations adopt the goals of the organization in their lives.
He said he has always strongly supported the work of the organization.
The Chief State Commissioner of the organization Paras Chandra Jain expressed his gratitude to Governor Patel for his interest in the organization.
He said efforts were being made to make the organization financially self-sufficient. The nature of the organization was working by bringing everyone in.
Secretary of State of the organization Ashok Janwade informed about the activities of the organization that the weekly cleaning program in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, public awareness work for the prevention and vaccination of various diseases as part of the mission Indradhanush, open defecation prevention rally, direct home contact advertising activities, mass planting program in July, cleaning, recharging and conservation of water structures , the importance and caution regarding social media among young people and the dissemination of the Mann Ki Baat program, etc. were conducted.
